just one lil question i can't quite choose the right answer.?

Q: 1. Read the following example: The two men enjoyed scuba diving together they had traveled to the Caribbean and Red Seas. Choose the BEST way to rewrite the sentence. The two men enjoyed scuba diving together, they had traveled to the Caribbean and Red Seas. The two men enjoyed scuba diving together. They had traveled to the Caribbean and Red Seas.[x] The two men enjoyed scuba diving together and they had traveled to the Caribbean and Red Seas. Correct as is.

A: Well, since "...together; they..." is not an option, I also choose B. C is okay, it is a correct sentence but it's a little immature-sounding. A is a comma splice. The one in the question is a run-on.
