Q: I'm moving in a week later because I'm in my third year so wont be there for freshers week. Everyone would have bonded by then. What do I do?
A: You will be fine. Uni halls are the best place for meeting friends. And there is no hard-and-fast rule that all your friends have to be decided by the end of freshers! I met loads of people in fresher's week and thought they would be my best mates, but a few weeks later I barely spoke. I didn't meet some of my closest friends until months into the year. Enjoy yourself, try not to stress and don't be scared to strike up conversation with random people. Everyone is in the same boat! If you are a third year then many of the 1st years might want to ask you advice on stuff... you may well find yourself being the most popular person there!
