Q: i have residency in florida, can i get in-state college tuition prices in georgia or alabama because they are neighboring states? if so, is there a mileage point in that state? for example- if i lived all the way in miami, could i go to very north georgia?
A: Border cities frequently qualify but you could not go to UGA if you lived in Miami..The reason being is frequently people live in a border city but work in the neighbor state. For example many people work in Louisville Kentucky but live in Clarksville Indiana and vice versa they work in Clarksville and live in Louisville. They are just across the Ohio River from each other
